Cellar Door Follow Up

Viewers may remember the cellar door project. Here is an update as to how they are doing.

In the past couple days there has been alot of rain in Winnipeg culminating in a down pour last night that has left a few basements with some flooding. Well my stairs under the new doors are dry as a bone and my basement (which has always had a little water in it when it rains) is dry as a bone. I'd say the design works pretty durn good (even if I do say so myself). Now if only I could do something about the dirty dishes from cooking dinner! (LOL)

Here is a pic of my dinner! LOL. I made this recipe for the Louisianna favorite, Red Beans & Rice. I added a nice sausage and some Back Bacon and fresh mushrooms. Served with Asparagus over a bed of rice....mmmmmm delicious. Not all work on the home has to be in the backyard!
